Rainny Day

This is the Friday before Christmas. We went to work two hours earlier than our normal time and had a morning game/KK section. The productivity has down to only one fourth. We then end the day with a lunch which only five people were staying to attend. The reason for the small number is the weather. Following yesterday thurnder storm and disrupsion of train service, today is another unpredicable rainny day.

Time Flies

Approaching the end of another year, there are a lot of things needed to be reviewed and new plans have to be made. Whether it is a new career move or major decision in personal life, it is still a daunting task to do when trying to get everything right. Wouldn't it be nice to have a little help from a life partner who would provide some much needed opinion on these matters?!

New Location

Being involved in an office moving event is a great experience, especially when working in a large company which its employees could fully occupy a whole brand new building. Part of the fun being the packing unpacking, the new table, new key pass, and all the first hand items which we can get hold with. By the way it is also very exciting for being the first group to move and watching the final stage of construstion takes place.

New Possessions

Ever since I have set my mind to look for a new mobile phone, I was determined to find a model which would allow me to jot down notes, take pictures and send new entries to a blog easily. Today I finally try out the blogging function of my new phone. It is really amazing of how easy it can be done. And while I am here, this is a test for sending a blog entry via email.

Career Career

Ever since I gave up my job in Sydney there is quite an unproductive gap in the career path that I would like to have.

As looking for jobs should not be too difficult in the current moment, more than once the people around me get the positions in front of me.

The question is always the same old one: Whether to get a permanent position or to work on something I would really enjoy in a long term.

Maybe this goes back to the interview question: What is the motivation of doing the job?

I would enjoy having the opportunity to learn new things everyday while performing problem solving tasks to support others and keep the world going around. Being too passive and only do what other people told me to is not really my cup of tea. Although this is what I just got myself into at the moment.

But I have also learn to keep my option open. Being narrow minded and too naive will only block any passing by opportunities outside the door.

Let's Talk About Sex

There are a few articles on the BBC UK site talking about a new visitor attraction dedicated to love, sex and relationships. It seems that this new London sex theme park would provide interactive and educational experience for people aged 18 and over.

It is shocking and scary to know that nowadays people know too little on the topic of sex. Cultural differences and upbringing may contribute to some of the reasons. But in this information overloaded world it seems unreasonable for someone who age 20 or above still cannot or do not have the motivation to obtain more relevant knowledge positively.

Incredible Bottles

Ever wonder how those miniature ships in bottles are made? How about a pair of scissors, a deck of playing cards, a pair of compasses, a padlock, a few knots, a coin and a stick all fitted in a thin, flat, narrow neck bottle? The artist name is Harry Eng(1932-1996) and the bottles he made are just amazing. Although I can't find a wiki page recording his information, a simple Google search could also find quite a few sites containing pictures of his artwork. I like the 'THINK' logo very much, which on its own would already make people think.
